My professional leadership experience spans more than 30 years, and I’ve been a consultant, coach, and trainer for 15 years. My consulting helps leaders create systems of support that align people's unique strengths to produce powerful outcomes. My coaching and training uses globally recognized assessments from Gallup—CliftonStrengths and the Builder Profile 10 (BP10)—to help leaders and managers, teams large and small, and individuals achieve excellence.
Friends and colleagues describe me as "people centered and principle focused". In addition to supporting people to become their best selves and live their best lives, my other passions include running and exercising, practicing Russian, singing classical music, spending time with my family, walking our dog in our Austin, Texas, neighborhood, and connecting with friends and colleagues around the globe.

I work with you to develop and refine effective systems of support for staff based on research, experience, and tested models of talent management. Services include assessing the effectiveness of current practices, developing and piloting new approaches, and calibrating implementation in alignment with strategic goals and organizational culture.
I help clients develop powerful processes for finding and hiring the right person for the job using a four-step approach to provide insights into candidates’ behaviors and attributes that includes (1) developing and honing job descriptions, (2) creating customized behavioral interview protocols, (3) facilitating and/or training for candidate interviews, and (4) providing summary behavioral profiles to inform candidate selection.
Using tools from implementation science and logic modeling, I help you and your teams move beyond addressing surface-level challenges to identify underlying issues and root causes. The resulting clarity in assumptions and the mapping of through lines from inputs to outcomes ensures that strategic planning, project planning, and initiative development are informed by deep and expansive thinking from multiple partners.

Backed by over six decades of research and nearly 34 million administrations across the globe, CliftonStrengths focuses the coaching process on what you naturally do best and empowers you to do more of it—as a leader, manager, or individual contributor.
I support entrepreneurs and leaders of business growth by coaching with Gallup’s BP10 assessment, which measures 10 scientifically proven talents of successful business builders and three roles that are essential to for developing new ventures. Developed from a study of successful entrepreneurs and validated with additional research and testing, the BP10 provides insights specific to the role of a business builder that can accelerate growth through coaching.

My tested, strengths-based approach helps teams break through barriers, build on successes, and achieve new levels of excellence. I assess team needs by conducting interviews with key leaders and surveying team members to ensure diverse perspectives on team functioning. For C-Suite teams, I facilitate an assessment of high-performing leadership teams based on research by Gallup, Inc. Coaching engagements are then tailored to address key issues that leadership and team members agree are essential to improving team performance, effectiveness, and wellbeing.
I provide introductory and advanced CliftonStrengths training for teams, virtually and in person. Ranging from 2-hour introductions to full-day workshops, my thoughtful and engaging sessions leverage my extensive experience helping teams deepen understanding, appreciation, and application of strengths so they can do what they do best.
